We were at least able to sleep in a bit this morning – we hopped on the Toot Bus and explored Place de la Concorde and surrounding area. I could definitely spend another week or two or four 🫣. We had our tour of Notre Dame – incredible. It was surreal seeing it after the fire of 2019 – when we were here in 2021 it was all blocked off and sad …. Cathedrals amaze me. The craftsmanship and the time that took them to be completed – dedication to mission. Late lunch was delicious and now we are walking through Luxembourg Gardens, which is breathtaking.
Sorry I didn’t caption much – way tooooo tired 🥱 how to sleep in again tomorrow, but it will still be a packed day. Thinking about grabbing coffee and pastries and eating breakfast in the garden tomorrow morning, then just doing more wandering. To top off the day we have a dinner cruise planned, to view Paris at night. Will be sad to leave, this has been a good trip.
