Today was a beautiful day, starting off with a hearty breakfast and a trip to visit Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg along with sites of the old quarter. Quite different from when we were here in 2021, crowdwise 😳😂 The guide we had was phenomenal. He was a Chilean guide (Vladimir) with good English skills and a superb knowledge of history along with a killer sense of humor. So many comparisons to be made … I won’t elaborate, but man … we need to be aware of where our country is headed right now.
Back to the ship for lunch and ice cream sundaes following (reminded me of SSS) then back to Strasbourg for the afternoon. Fresh baguette and macarons and a few souvenirs and we called it a day.
